Confronting Cognitive Dissonance

Being emotionally invested in misperceptions is a root of Cognitive Dissonance.

Medications will never correct the feelings of cognitive dissonance.

One of the few things that actually help cognitive dissonance is admitting that one has been lied to and educating oneself about the lies.
