via ZeroHedge – On September 18th, the US Senate voted to ban the use of products from the Moscow-based cyber security firm Kaspersky Lab by the federal government, citing national security risk. The vote was included as an amendment to an annual defense policy spending bill approved by the Senate on the same day and was written to bar the use of Kaspersky Lab software in government civilian and military agencies.
Alas, according to a new revelation from WikiLeaks this morning, any perceived “national security risk” from Kaspersky could have resulted from the fact that the CIA specifically designed hacking software, code-named ‘Hive’, which intentionally “impersonated” the Russian cyber security firm so that “if the target organization looks at the network traffic coming out of its network, it is likely to misattribute the CIA exfiltration of data to uninvolved entities whose identities have been impersonated.”

Wired.com – Andy Greenberg In an era of hacker attacks on critical infrastructure, even a run-of-the-mill malware infection on an electric utility’s network is enough to raise alarm bells. But the latest collection of power grid penetrations went far deeper: Security firm Symantec is warning that a series of recent hacker attacks not only compromised energy companies in the US and Europe but also resulted in the intruders gaining hands-on access to power grid operations—enough control that they could have induced blackouts on American soil at will.
Symantec on Wednesday revealed a new campaign of attacks by a group it is calling Dragonfly 2.0, which it says targeted dozens of energy companies in the spring and summer of this year. In more than 20 cases, Symantec says the hackers successfully gained access to the target companies’ networks. And at a handful of US power firms and at least one company in Turkey—none of which Symantec will name—their forensic analysis found that the hackers obtained what they call operational access: control of the interfaces power company engineers use to send actual commands to equipment like circuit breakers, giving them the ability to stop the flow of electricity into US homes and businesses.

There are many things being done and said to generate distrust of bitcoins, such as the German Central Bank Warning Not To Use Bitcoin As It Is Not Backed By A Central Bank.
The banks have been “investigating”, investing in, and creating their own digital currencies… so has the governmental service corporations (FBI, DEA, US Secret Service, CIA, NSA [spying], Pentagon, Federal Reserve [their white papers on bitcoin], ECB [white papers]).
The FBI’s Bitcoin address in known.
These block-chain technologies are highly studied: academically, technologically, mathematically, information network systems dynamics, financially, etc with many case studies. The bankers and attorneys have an infinite amount of debt to influence and harm the perception of bitcoin and related digital currencies.

Another large-scale, stealthy cyberattack is underway on a scale that could dwarf last week’s assault on computers worldwide, a global cybersecurity firm told AFP on Wednesday.

To be clear, Falsifying the Trump-Russia Connection is not the same thing as Denying Trump-Russia Connections. This is to say, there are likely connections, but are not what they appear to be. The CIA uses weaponize narratives all the time. Lying to cover up lies, that were never true to start. Fabrications upon fabrications to different actors to get the to do certain things, change their priorities, and act in ways beneficial toward the CIA.
What is the Trump Russia Connection? When it becomes clear, I’ll post more.

The pattern continues…
Those who are connected to the crimes and misdemeanors of the Clinton crime cartel live in hiding for fear of their lives.
Of course there was funneling of money going on. The Wikileaks and Guccifer 2.0 hacks went along way in documenting the quid pro quo nature of Clinton diplomacy.
Back in the 90s, it was selling nuclear secrets to China, and schmoozing with high powered Chinese individuals, caught up in real estate deals, fundraising schemes and the like.
So it is little surprising, though certainly alarming, that this story has surfaced of a Chinese-American businessman who is living in hiding and who felt compelled to make an ‘insurance policy’ video detailing his involvement in the Clinton admin’s “Chinagate” which involved laundered funds from high powered Chinese businessmen:
